GS: George Shelley
LP: Lilah Parsons
On that awkward moment while presenting an award to Demi Lovato…
DB: Talking of your dear friend Demi Lovato she was on stage recently and made a comment on your d**k. I would now like to offer you the opportunity as you're a guest on Capital Breakfast to reply, do you want to say anything to Demi?NJ: I was really tempted when she was on stage […] I went off script and said something really heart warming that was really sweet and nice. I actually got emotional as we've known each other almost 10 years and have been through a lot together. So she gets on stage and goes off script as well. I was expecting something similar to what I said and she comes out with "I know you all love Nick Jonas but I actually have a bigger d**k than him." My instinct was to reply prove it!
On buying and listening to his own music…
GS: You recently tweeted 'I just purchased my new single #close and pre ordered my new album, greatest feeling in the world.' When you've bought your music, and you've got it on your iPod. What do you do when you listen to it?NJ: It's really awkward when it comes on. I have public playlists and private ones. Sometimes I'm confused as to which one I'm playing as they have the same name. My music is on my public one, so when I'm with friends and I'm playing songs I like - I come on and that moment is a little awkward, because you're playing your own music.
On why the song on his album 'Complicated' is called bacon…
LP: My favourite song name on your album is called 'bacon', how complicated can bacon really get?NJ: So many people have asked me what the song is about and a lot of guesses were: it's the morning after and it's bacon because you're having breakfast. That's not at all what its about. The idea is when you are out of a relationship and you start to be okay with the fact that it's ended. In my case my life was great, its so good that we should throw some bacon on it to make it even better.
