Nick Jonas’ pageant obsession

Nick Jonas is obsessed with beauty pageants.

The 22-year-old singer has been dating former Miss USA Olivia Culpo since August 2013. And Nick admits the romance has seen him develop an unhealthy interest in the pageant world.

"I'm really in tune with pageants now," he told the American edition of Cosmopolitan magazine. "I can, like, call who's gonna win if I watch a pageant… or what the top five would be. I can't bet on it, I can't go to Vegas and bet — I'd get in trouble."

Nick also revealed he's become addicted to a reality TV show called Game Of Crowns. The Bravo series focuses on older women competing in the Mrs. America contest, and the singer insists it's compulsive viewing.

"I've gotten quite close to the pageant world over the last year-and-a-half by way of my girlfriend, and so this is just mind-blowing, and you should watch it. It's just very entertaining. I'll leave it at that," he mused.

Nick also opened up about his romantic history in the interview. And the former Jonas Brothers crooner, who has been involved with stars including Selena Gomez and Delta Goodrem, revealed his major turn-offs when it comes to dating.

Asked to describe his "first date no-no", Nick replied: "Texting while you're out on a date. No phones. Put your phone away. That's, like, every date, even years into a relationship. Stop texting. Pay attention to what's going on right now."
