Nicki Minaj announces album drop date

Nicki Minaj has revealed The Pinkprint will be out in November.

Fans of the 31-year-old rapper have been eagerly anticipating her third record, which has already spawned singles Pills n Potions and Anaconda.

Now the wait is over, with the singer revealing people can get their hands on the album on November 24.

"11.24 The Pinkprint (sic)," she wrote in a simple tweet.

Nicki raised a few eyebrows when she debuted the video for Anaconda last month. The promo sees her showing off her derriere in a selection of tiny outfits while singing, "Oh my gosh, look at her butt!"

Proving she's really not shy about putting her best asset on display, Nicki took to the stage at last night's Fashion Rocks event.

She belted out Anaconda while wearing a bejewelled bra and tiny blue skirt that showed a flash of her pants as she danced.

The musician recently appeared in a Vine by Vogue magazine, in which she tried to teach four Alexander Wang models how to dance like her.

In the funny clip she can be seen directing the fashion stars as they attempt to 'booty shake' like her.

And it seems everyone is keen to have Nicki teach them some moves. Following her performance last night, the star retweeted a message from a keen fan who'd watched her do her thing on stage.

"@NICKIMINAJ Teach me the anaconda choreo. You and them dancers be KILLING it!!! (sic)," she wrote.
