Nicki Minaj has dismissed baby bump speculation as an example of photographic shadow play.
The 32-year-old Anaconda rapper shared photographs of herself donning a cute grey crop top and matching skirt while standing next to boyfriend Meek Mill.
In some of these images it appears as if a baby bump is growing beneath her outfit and a few fans accused her of Photoshopping the image because it featured an oddly bent limb.
"Lol why did I actually text @grizzleemusic about this? yall so damn crazy. I was like we don't need to do that (sic)," Nicki wrote in a caption on Instagram Sunday, which was attached to a screenshot of a text message she had with Grizz Lee, an artist and photographer.
The musician's text exchange with Grizz was pretty straight forward, as she asked him if he Photoshopped the image, he said no and insisted the strange womb bump and bent leg was "just shadow".
On Saturday Nicki shared a video clip of herself onstage in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of the cities she is performing in as part of her The Pinkprint Tour series of concerts.
In the clip, which she shared on Twitter, Nicki asked the audience to "make some noise for my baby father", seemingly alluding to her beau Meek Mill.
Although fans were sent into a tizzy thinking she is pregnant, when asked about the rumours online, Nicki shared crying laughing face emojis in response.
This isn't the first time fans have misconstrued what she and Meek Mill have said about the happenings in their relationship.
Rumours first began circulating they might be engaged after Nicki shared a photo of her and Meek embracing one another via Instagram on Tuesday April 14. It seemed like a normal couple-in-love photograph, but that image was particularly striking because Nicki is seen donning a huge, gleaming band on her left ring finger.
