Rapper Nicki Minaj is to appear in a documentary 'My Time Now' which she says 'People need to see'.
'My Time Now' follows the rising star over three months while she revisits her native Trinidad and records her debut album 'Pink Friday'.
''They're gonna meet Onika. Everybody sees Nicki Minaj; they're gonna meet Onika. They're gonna hear my story, and it's such an inspirational story, which I never really wanted to tell,'' Minaj told MTV News.
She added: ''People need to see this.' It reminds you that everyone always feels like this is it, but there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, and I feel like that's what the doc says at the end.''
Meanwhile, Minaj's new song 'Check It Out' features Cheryl Cole and Black Eyed Peas Will.i.am.
‘Check It Out’ is taken from Minaj’s forthcoming album ‘Pink Friday’, due out on November 22. The album also includes Rihanna, Drake and Eminem.
