Rapper Nicki Minaj thinks Miley Cyrus has "some big balls" to criticise her for being upset over her MTV's Video Music Awards snub this year (15).
The two musicians came to loggerheads at the event in August when Nicki called Miley a "b**ch" for speaking out about her in an interview with The New York Times ahead of the ceremony.
The Wrecking Ball singer had told the outlet she was unimpressed by Nicki taking to Twitter to complain after her Anaconda promo wasn't included in the Video of the Year category. Now Nicki has fired back, and she is seemingly still smarting about the issue.
"The fact that you feel upset about me speaking on something that affects black women makes me feel like you have some big balls," she told the outlet. "You're in videos with black men, and you're bringing out black women on your stages, but you don't want to know how black women feel about something that's so important? Come on, you can't want the good without the bad."
Nicki added that if the 22-year-old really wants to embrace black culture, she needs to do more than just dance, have fun, twerk and rap with people.
"You should also want to know what affects us, what is bothering us, what we feel is unfair to us," she added. "You shouldn't not want to know that."
After the nominations came out, Nicki used Twitter to insist that she if she was a "different 'kind' of artist", Anaconda would have made the cut.
"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated," she added on Twitter.
This riled Miley, who told The New York Times that she didn't respect the statement "because of the anger that came with it" before adding that Nicki was "not too kind".
But 32-year-old Nicki got her first chance to say her piece while picking up the award for Best Hip Hop Video at the ceremony. At the end of her acceptance speech she turned to host Miley and said: "And now... back to this b**ch that had a lot to say about me in the press. Miley, what's good?"
