Choice, London's number one urban station, is proud to announce it has signed rapper and international style icon Nicki Minaj to host her own show throughout February.
Playing some of her favourite urban hits and tracks from her debut album Pink Friday ' which was certified platinum just a month after its US release ' the award-winning and Grammy nominated artist will be taking over the early afternoon show from Saturday 5th February. The announcement comes hot-on-the-heels of Nicki's whirlwind visit to London, which saw the Young Money diva and her troops of 'barbies' bringing parts of the Capital to a standstill.
With Nicki being the first artist to have seven songs in the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time and the first solo female emcee to top the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart since 2002, this is a takeover not to be missed.
Nicki Minaj will be taking over Choice every Saturday in February from 3pm with the show being reloaded every Tuesday evening from 7pm.
Programme Director of Choice, Robert D'Ovidio said: 'Nicki is our biggest artist and to secure her for the whole month is just amazing. Our audience and everyone at Choice loves her so it's a perfect match.'
