Nicki Minaj is hoping to splash out on a "pink palace" in the UK.
The American-based singer is looking to expand her property portfolio by purchasing a home in Britain. The star loves the rolling countryside there but has decided against buying a sprawling estate as she doesn't think it would fit her eccentric image.
"Nicki loves England for the heritage and the countryside. She has been scouring the web for a place," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"Her inspiration is the pink palace '60s movie star Jayne Mansfield had in Hollywood."
The 29-year-old star is known for her eccentric outfits and ever-changing hairstyles. She has just released her second album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which is a follow-up to her 2010 debut Pink Friday.
The girly hue is a source of inspiration for Nicki, which is why she is determined it should play a big part in her new home.
She knows it is unlikely that she'll find a house which is already pink, so is happy to paint the property. She also wants a pink swimming pool, in the shape of a heart, and a Rolls Royce car also in the eye-popping shade.
The final touch will come in the garden, where Nicki hopes to have some flamingos – exotic pink birds – strolling around.
