Noel Gallagher launched his solo career (March 25) at the first of two shows in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Performing alone on an acoustic guitar at the Royal Albert Hall, Noel claimed "As fucking brilliant as they are, now's not the right time or right place" to unveil any new songs, but instead treated the crowd to a selection of Oasis classics.
The set included 'Talk Tonight', 'Cast No Shadow', 'Half The World Away', 'The Importance Of Being Idle', 'Wonderwall', 'Slide Away', 'The Masterplan' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger'. He also dedicated 'Digsy's Dinner' to fellow Mancs The Courteeners.
