Noel Gallagher set for intimate Q+A session for charity

XFM is hosting an exclusive panel discussion and Q+A with Oasis's Noel Gallagher, alongside music industry insiders such as Manic Street Preachers' Nicky Wire, in aid of Global's Make Some Noise.

The event, aptly named An Evening With Noel Gallagher, will "delve into Noel's life ins music" with a 90-minute discussion and Q+A session in front of an audience of just 120 people.

Gallagher will be joined by Nicky Wire, former Creation Records boss Alan McGee, and Shorlist's deputy editor Hamish McBain.

Speaking about the event, Gallagher said: "Having rarely stopped blowing my own trumpet since April '94, it'll come as no surprise I jumped at the chance to let the people catch me at it again, so to speak, while at the same time raising a few bob for the kids. It'll be a pleasure."

All profits from ticket sales will go towards Global's Make Some Noise, which was established this year to help disadvantaged children and yoing people across the UK.

Tickets will cost between £40 and £100 and go on sale here at 9am on Wednesday 1 October.
