Noel Gallagher has called for the smoking ban to be lifted.
Gallagher has claimed that smokers have been mistreated since the ban came into place in 2007.
When asked in a recent interview with London Evening Standard, what would you do if you were Mayor of London for the day?
Noel replied: ''Abolish the smoking ban. I've smoked since I was a teenager and now poor souls like me have to stand outside.
He added: "What really annoys me is that in the winter we're all outside shivering, with all the squares inside, and then in the summer the squares come outside and it's like, 'This is for smokers, get back inside with your Birkenstocks'."
Gallagher's first solo album is due to be released on on October 17.
