THE VERY first edition of Now That's What I Call Music has been re-issued for its 25th anniversary.
The double album, which was first released in December 1983, includes 11 number one singles, such as Culture Club's Karma Chameleon.
It featured a cartoon of a pig in sunglasses on the cover and went on to sell 900,000 copies.
It also included Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse Of The Heart, UB40's Red Red Wine and Candy Girl by New Edition.
Yesterday it was re-issued by EMI, which put out the classic album as a special commemorative anniversary edition on a limited-edition CD.
The Now That's What I Call Music series, which is now on number 72, is the biggest selling compilation series with 75 million sales in the UK and Ireland alone.
The biggest selling edition so far was 1999's Now 44 which sold over two million copies and featured Britney Spears' debut Baby One More Time.
