OK Go are back in the UK on tour this month, showcasing their loud, catchy, crowd pleasing songs, cleverly put together - - part indie rock, part stadium rock, part straight up pop with the occasional whiff of the Pixies or The Cars or Elliott Smith.
The band's message seems to be rock 'n' roll can be fun without being dumb. It can be a pleasure without being a guilty pleasure. It can be accessible without pandering
They seem like people who just love rock music and want to indulge in the all amusing, thrilling things it can do. This can be seen in the highly amusing new video for "A Million Ways" (available to stream) which takes you slinking across the dance floor to a sleazy disco-era Clash beat.
The site www.okgo.net also includes frequent updates from the band members themselves, including Podcasts and blogs, as well as a brand new 'Rescue the band' game!
