Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark will release their first album with their original line-up since 1986 in September.
Paul Humphreys announced that Andy McClusky, Martin Cooper and Malcolm Holmes will released the album titled 'The History of Modern'.
O.M.D. had a string of hits in the 80s including 'Enola Gay', 'Locomotion' and 'If You Leave'.
The original line-up reformed in 2006 but the promised new album in 2007 never eventuated. Instead, they toured their 80s album 'Architecture and Morality' instead. That led to the 2007 live album 'OMD Live: Architecture and Morality and More'.
In 2008, they were out on the road again with another reformed 80s band China Crisis.
In 2009, they did a one-off show with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic in Liverpool and later in the year toured with Simple Minds.
'History of Modern' will be the 11th studio album for O.M.D.
