The 25-year-old singer is enjoying working on new material and says it is much less "traumatic" than her experiences recording debut LP 'Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?'.
She said: "I'm really enjoying it. During the first album there was a lot of personal stuff going on, so it was a bit more traumatic. But now I feel like I have an easier life because I've got money.
"I was always poor before and it was really hard. I've got more space to reflect now."
The London-born star is particularly pleased with a forthcoming song called 'Cellulite', but is worried she may have to put on more weight to sing it with conviction.
She added: "I'm really excited about a song called 'Cellulite'. It's really good. The chorus goes, 'So take me the way I am/Because I am a rebel, I don't give a damn/Can you love me right?/Me and my cellulite?'
"I've got to put on a little bit more weight to sing it."
