Panic! At The Disco have today announced details of their highly anticipated fifth studio album Death of a Bachelor, confirmed to release on January 15 2016.
The album is available to pre-order now and is accompanied with three instant grat tracks: 'Emperor's New Clothes', 'Hallelujah' and 'Victorious'. In addition to the new album, Panic! have unveiled a brand new video for 'Emperor's New Clothes' directed by award-winning filmmaker/choreographer Daniel "Cloud" Campos.
Produced by Jake Sinclair (Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy), Death of a Bachelor marks the first release from Panic! At The Disco in nearly two years, following 2013's gold-certified album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! Current single 'Victorious' shot straight to #1 on iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in the US and #1 on Billboard this month.
The first single off DOAB, 'Hallelujah' made chart history for the band with a Top 40 debut on Billboard's Hot 100 earlier this summer – Panic! At The Disco's second Top 40 hit and first since 2006's breakthrough classic, 'I Write Sins, Not Tragedies'. The album's title track premiered exclusively on Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio where Urie described 'Death of A Bachelor' - "It's like some Beyoncé beats with some Sinatra vocals. It's really crazy… [Sinatra's] music has been a major player in the soundtrack of my life. So it's only right that I return the favour and/or pay it forward."
The band will return to the UK for a show at Brixton Academy on January 12th 2016.
