The Hollywood actor died in 2009, aged 57, and two of his hit movies – Ghost and Dirty Dancing – have already been made into West End musicals.
According to a poll held by online ticket exchange Viagogo, Point Break was the movie Swayze fans most wanted to see turned into a musical.
In second place was his 1989 film Road House, while 2001 movie Donnie Darko came third, and his 1995 flick To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar came fourth.
Swayze also had a small part in the 2004 prequel Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, which came fifth in the poll.
Viagogo’s UK director Edward Parkinson said: 'With Dirty Dancing The Musical one of the most popular theatre tickets on our site, and Ghost The Musical set to follow the same trend, Patrick Swayze movies-turned-musicals appear to contain all the ingredients needed to create a West End stage hit.'
