PATRICK WOLF has revealed that he used to be able to hear Margaret Thatcher through his drainpipe.
The singer said he lived upstairs from the former Prime Minister and her daughter Carol in luxury flats on London's South Bank.
Speaking to DJ Iain Baker on NME Radio, he said: "The night I moved in and I had a shower I started hearing this noise.
"At first I thought I was on drugs, but then I realised I wasn't on drugs, it was Margaret Thatcher! I could hear her through my drainpipe!"
The singer said that Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills McCartney was also his neighbour.
But he has since moved out after he said he "lived like a rock star and blew all my money in a year."
