Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mill are desperate to finalise their divorce settlement before their daughter's fourth birthday.
The pair - who split in May 2006 following a four-year marriage - will
appear in London's High Court Family Division today (11.10.07) in a bid to reach an agreed settlement sum before Beatrice's big day at the end of the month.
Paul - worth an estimated £825 million - has reportedly agreed to give the 39-year-old former model more than £50 million.
A source said: "It's Bea's fourth birthday on October 28. Both Paul and Heather want closure before that.
"£50 million seems to be a figure they to have finally settled on. The
lawyers will thrash out the details which could take a couple more weeks to finalise. But the biggest issue was always going to be the scale of the settlement - and this is no longer an obstacle."
It is believed the settlement will include a lump sum for Heather, property and annual payments for Beatrice.
Paul, 65, will reportedly pay all the expenses for Beatrice's schooling, travel, security and nannies and the pair will share custody of their daughter.
The Beatles legend will also demand a confidentiality clause, preventing Heather from speaking about their marriage.
The pair are keen to hammer out their divorce deal in private and avoid an expensive and potentially embarrassing public court hearing.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
