Sir Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell have enjoyed a second wedding celebration in the US.
The pair married in London earlier this month, but New Yorker Nancy was eager to celebrate the nuptials closer to home. The Beatles legend and his new wife held the party at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan on Friday night.
Some of the biggest names in the music industry joined them, including a surprise appearance from John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono. Yoko was accompanied by her son Sean Lennon.
Jon Bon Jovi, Dave Grohl, James Taylor, Keith Richards and his wife Patti Hansen, Elvis Costello, Billy Joel, Ralph Lauren, Barbara Walter and New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg were also in attendance.
Nancy, 51, looked stunning in a royal blue knee length dress and single buttoned jacket, while Paul, 69, opted for a navy suit and striped tie.
The party took place in one of the hotel's private rooms and guests dined on a vegetarian feast as the champagne flowed. The newlyweds and their friends happily danced to Motown music for the rest of the night.
As Paul and Nancy left the venue at around 1.30am, a group of well-wishers had gathered outside.
"Nancy looked so overjoyed (and sort of happily overwhelmed) by the outpouring of joy for them. They held hands and took photos as made their way to the car," a source told Us Weekly.
Paul and Nancy wed in an intimate ceremony at Marylebone Register Office in Central London on October 9. The reception took place at Paul's north London home.
