The actress has revealed the role Paul McCartney played designing the matching ink the Easy A star and her mum are planning on getting.
'We've never gotten tattoos before and probably never will again,' she told David Letterman.
The experience will have special significance for the 21- year-old and her mum.
'Two years ago tomorrow she got diagnosed with breast cancer, and she's out of the woods now, which is amazing,' she said.
Stone went on to reveal the part the Beatle played in picking the design Us magazine reports.
'My mum's favourite song is Blackbird by Paul McCartney, and it's my favourite song as well,' she said. 'I wrote a letter to Paul McCartney asking him if he would draw two little bird feet - because he wrote the song - and yesterday he sent them to me.'
Stone is thrilled about the unique ink, gushing, 'Custom tattoos by Paul McCartney. Isn't that wild?'
