Sir Paul McCartney praised The King's Speech and The Social Network as he attended the BAFTAs in London last night (February 13).
The former Beatle kicked off the ceremony, presenting the award for Best Score to composer Alexandre Desplat for his work on The King's Speech.
Speaking beforehand, Sir Paul said he was a big fan of the Colin Firth-starring movie.
“The King’s Speech was a great film this year, along with The Social Network. We’ve got a song in The Social Network but I prefer The King’s Speech,” he told Sky News.
The King's Speech was the big winner at last night's British Academy Film Awards, winning seven awards, including best film and best actor for Firth.
