Paul McCartney will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this afternoon, it has been confirmed.
The singer will attend the ceremony outside Capitol Records building in Los Angeles, where he recorded his new album, 'Kisses On The Bottom' this afternoon.
McCartney will then play an exclusive set with Diana Krall and her band inside the building.
Meanwhile, he first glimpse at the line-up for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert outside Buckingham Palace has been announced.
Taking place in June outside the Queen’s residence, the concert is set to see live performances from Elton John, Paul McCartney, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones, Madness, Annie Lennox Jessie J and JLS.
The line-up for the event is still only 60% complete with more acts to still be announced. The concert to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be free but residents of the UK will have to win one of the 10,000 tickets available to attend the event.
