Paul McCartney will return to Japan in April to make up for the shows he had had cancel due to illness in 2014.
McCartney had arrived in Japan in May last year when he contracted a virus forcing him to postpone and then eventually cancel all scheduled shows.
The virus knocked the former Beatle around so much than all American shows for June had to be rescheduled.
McCartney's Out There tour finally started in July from Albany, New York.
"I can't wait to get back to Japan for some more great nights of rock n' roll and fun," McCartney said in a statement. "We had such a great time on our trip in 2013 and we were so disappointed that we couldn't perform last year. I want to thank my fans for all the lovely messages you sent me. Looking forward to seeing you all very soon."
Once again despite his proximity to Australia on the tour, no Australian dates have been announced. McCartney's last Australian tour was in 1993. His previous Australian tour was on the Wings Over The World tour with Wings in 1975.
Paul McCartney has only stepped foot in Australia once before that, it 1964 with The Beatles.
