Paul McCartney is responding once and for all about the rumors about his wife. McCartney has posted a message on his wife's Web site about what he calls "scurrilous reports" about her. McCartney says some of it is "plain malevolence" while other reports are so ridiculous even he admits they're funny.
McCartney says there's no animosity between his wife and his adult children. He says they get along great. He says she didn't talk him into using hair dye. He did that years before he met her. He says his clash with Yoko Ono over songwriting credits began before he met his wife, too. He says he's particularly shocked by allegations that his wife losing a leg in a motorcycle accident was the best thing for her because it feeds her need for self-publicity. He says, "Imagine losing a leg, and dealing with it as bravely as Heather has done and having to read that on top of it."document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
