The surviving members of The Beatles – Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr – have reunited at the premiere of a new film about George Harrison.
The widow of John Lennon, Yoko Ono, and Harrison's widow, Olivia, also attended the screening in London last night (October 2).
Directed by Martin Scorsese, George Harrison: Living In The Material World recalls the former Beatles star's life.
Sir Paul McCartney was joined by his fiance Nancy Shevell at the film premiere.
Scorsese said he was “fascinated” by Harrison, who died of lung cancer in 2011 at the age of 58.
Sir Paul McCartney told BBC News: "Every time I see something to do with George it brings back more memories than you would believe.
“He was my little mate on the school bus. A lot of fond memories. He's sorely missed by us all."
Ringo Starr said: "It's far out. It's far out. It's like the Beatles go on forever."
George Harrison: Living In The Material World will make its TV debut on the BBC in November.
