Paul McCartney is to play a rare acoustic set alongside fellow living legend Neil Young in the US next month.
He leads a line-up that includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sonic Youth and Tony Bennett at the 18th annual Bridge School Benefit, which was founded by Neil Young himself.
Set for October 23-24, the shows take place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre outside San Francisco, the shows have a traditionally acoustic format, according to Billboard.
Paul McCartney's appearance will be his first live acoustic set since his 1991 MTV Unplugged session.
Completing the line-up are Ben Harper And The Innocent Criminals, Tegan and Sara and Los Lonely Boys
