Sir Paul McCartney will marry fiancée Nancy Shevell tomorrow.
The 69-year-old legendary musician will exchange vows with the 51-year-old US heiress in front of just 30 guests at London's Westminster Register Office.
The couple will then follow up their understated ceremony with a casual reception in Paul's back garden.
It has been reported that Paul's younger brother Mike is 'overseeing proceedings' and will take on duties of best man, while the singer's seven-year-old daughter Beatrice is sole bridesmaid and flower girl.
A source close to the star revealed that the ceremony reflects the relationship between Paul and Nancy perfectly.
'The wedding is in keeping with the way Paul and Nancy have conducted their entire relationship ' low-key, understated and fuelled by goodwill. Neither of them wanted a huge fuss made and the main priority, for both, was family,' a source close to the star told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.
't will be a really special, intimate ceremony followed by a fun do under a marquee in the garden. They have chosen a fairly spectacular wedding cake, and ordered a chocolate one for the younger guests. Paul's daughter, Stella, was instrumental in helping choose an entirely vegetarian, mostly organic, three-course sit-down meal.
'The pop-up bar will be free-flowing and Paul keeps threatening to get the guitar out, and dedicate a couple of songs to his new wife.'
Paul is expected to wear a suit designed by daughter Stella McCartney.
The day of the ceremony would have been the 71st birthday of Paul's late Beatles bandmate John Lennon.
Paul and Nancy began dating in 2007 and announced their engagement in May this year. They have chosen rings from exclusive Los Angeles jeweller Neil Lane.
This will be Paul's third marriage.
After first wife Linda McCartney died in 1998, he tied the knot with Heather Mills in 2002, with the pair's bitter divorce battle being finalised in 2008.
She won a £24.3million settlement.
Nancy was previously married to American lawyer Bruce Blakeman.
