Peaches Geldof and Max Drummey are set to spend their first Christmas as a married couple apart.
The 19-year-old beauty - who married Chester French drummer Max in August - insists it is "tradition" for her to spend the festive season with her father Bob Geldof and the rest of her family.
She said: "It's tradition for me to be at my dad's house with my family, and the same for Max to be with his. We see each other all the time so that's fine with us.
"It's what other young couples do and it's only four days".
Peaches also revealed she is looking forward to seeing Bob at Christmas, admitting his "deprived Irish childhood" means he get extremely excited about the special holiday.
She added to Britain's Hello! magazine: "I think it's more for him, but it's very sweet. He leaves stockings for us all at the end of the bed.
'It's like... er, dad I am almost 20, really! And then he puts all the presents under the tree and we open them in the morning. My dad does all the cooking and we have a turkey dinner, and sit in front of the log fire."
However, Peaches and Max's decision to spend Christmas apart is likely to further fuel rumours their marriage is in trouble after just four months.
It was recently claimed Peaches had angered 24-year-old Max by employing her ex-boyfriend, The Horrors frontman Faris Rotter, as the chief artist on her magazine, Disappear Here.
A source said: "Peaches and Max have a fiery relationship, and one of the sticking points is that she is still close to Faris.
"But Peaches is a free spirit. She always has and always will do exactly what she wants. Max will have to accept her for who she is."
