Peaches Geldof reduced her husband to tears by going "berserk" at one of his concerts.
Chester French drummer Max Drummey – who married Peaches in a quickie wedding in Las Vegas in August – cried to his mother after the 19-year-old distracted him during a recent performance in New York.
A source said: "From out of nowhere, Peaches just went berserk. The group were performing when she suddenly burst on to the side of the stage and seemed to flip.
"After every song she was running around like a gazelle - distracting the band and making an exhibition of herself. "Max looked utterly disheartened by her mad antics. At one point he was sobbing into his mother's shoulder, saying, 'I can't do it'."
Max, 24, reportedly claimed his wife looked "wasted" before the rest of the group banned her from the dressing room. The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's unusual for Max to blow up like this - he is usually so placid. Clearly there is trouble in paradise."
Earlier this week, Peaches – who is the daughter of former Boomtown Rats singer and charity campaigner Bob Geldof - admitted her marriage would probably end in divorce. She said: "I'm realistic, you can't ignore divorce rates.
Every friend of mine has parents who are divorced. I didn't go into it with Max thinking, 'This is going to last forever,' but I did go into it thinking, 'I love him right now and I know that I'll continue to love him for a long while.' He thinks the same."
