Almost Famous director Cameron Crowe promises his Pearl Jam documentary this year.
The director and the band have been working together since 2009 on a documentary to celebrate their twentieth anniversary (feeling old yet?).
The documentary, called Pearl Jam Twenty, features archive footage from their entire career, as well as live performances and interviews.
Pearl Jam's website promises the release of the documentary this year, as well as a commemorative book and an accompanying soundtrack album.
Crowe is a longtime fan of the band and directed the clip to the 2009 single 'The Fixer' from Backspacer.
The band have just released a live album, Live On Ten Legs, to kick off their anniversary, and will rerelease Vs and Vitalogy in deluxe editions, as well as play a 'weekend bash' sometime in the US summer.
