Peter Andre's New Year's resolution is to make his new album successful.
The 35-year-old star - who raises three children with wife Katie Price - admits he is desperate for the record, which he is planning to release in May, to be a smash hit.
He said: "Last year I wanted to get fit, and I've done that. I wanted the kids to be healthy and happy, and touch wood they have been. Perhaps this year I want everything with the family to stay good, then to have a successful album. I can't wait!"
Peter also revealed he and Katie are still unsure how to ring in 2009.
He added: "We've still not decided. We tried to have a party one year, but then Harvey had his accident in 2006 so that blew that idea out and now we're too petrified to do that again.
"I want to go to Australia, but I don't think we'll be able to as we're going to America in January, so I think it'll all be too tight."
