Peter Cincotti debut album released

Already hotly tipped in his homeland, 23 year-old native New Yorker Peter Cincotti will introduce himself to UK audiences will the release of the single 'Goodbye Philadelphia', his first for Warner Bros. Records, on October 22nd.

A symbolic song of loss full of evocative lyrics, 'Goodbye Philadelphia' is a highlight of Peter Cincotti's album 'East of Angel Town' that follows a week later. 'East of Angel Town' represents Cincotti's first album of all new material following successful album releases for the Concord label.

For 'East of Angel Town', Cincotti collaborated with famed producer and multiple Grammy award winner David Foster (Michael Bublé, Josh Groban) along Foster's regular associates Humberto Gatica and Jochem van der Saag. Cincotti also worked with noted lyricist John Bettis (The Carpenters, Madonna). The result is a startlingly energetic collection of pop, blues, funk and jazz that highlights Cincotti's percussive piano playing and rich vocals.

Peter Cincotti first earned widespread acclaim when his debut album topped the Billboard Jazz chart, making him the youngest artist to do so.
