If producer Phil Spector's lawyers have a disputed fingernail, a judge says they must turn it over.
Superior Court Judge Carlos Uranga has ruled if the defense really does have a fingernail belonging to actress Lana Clarkson, they must turn it over. He says if it turns up later, neither side may use it as evidence.
Spector is charged with murdering Clarkson in his home outside Los Angeles in February 2003. Prosecutors had claimed earlier this year defense investigators found a piece of Clarkson's torn fingernail at the crime scene and it was covered in gunpowder residue.
