Famed record producer Phil Spector will face the courts for a second time in September.
Spector was acquitted after a mistrial for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson in 2007 after the jury was deadlocked 10-2 with a guilty verdict. The jury decision has to be unanimous.
Prosecutors said then that they would retrial the case.
Spector will once again stand trail on September 29.
Lana Clarkson was shot in the face at Spector's house in 2003. His driver called police and told them that Spector had killed someone.
Spector's team claimed Lana shot herself.
At the 2007 court case, the jury took 12 days to deliver its stale-mate verdict. The result was that Spector walked free.
