Pink Floyd star David Gilmour’s son has been bailed after being questioned about the disruption during last week’s tuition fees protest in London.
The 21-year-old was arrested at his Sussex home at the weekend on suspicion of violent disorder and attempted criminal damage, reports Sky News.
His arrest follows reports that Gilmour was seen swinging from a Union Flag on the war memorial last Thursday (December 8).
On Friday (December 9), Gilmour, a Cambridge student, issued an apology, saying he was “deeply ashamed”. He added that he had got “caught up in the moment”.
The protests on Thursday coincided with a Commons vote on the Government’s controversial changes to university tuition fees.
