The rapper and the boyband each sang at the music awards on Tuesday night (15.02.11) surrounded by dancers dressed as riot police, and while Plan B admitted he was initially annoyed with the similarities, he felt his performance ' which featured a policeman dashing across the stage on fire - was best.
The 'She Said' hitmaker ' real name Ben Drew ' told The Sun newspaper: ' couldn't believe it when I came in and saw their police. I just saw their shields and said, 'What the f**k is this?'
'Theirs was the PG version though ' they were just trying to copy me.'
After winning British Male Solo Artist at the event, the 27-year-old rapper and singer celebrated at a huge party thrown by his record label and admitted despite claiming he didn't care if he won or not, his win was useful for attracting women.
He said: 'This award's like a magnet, it's great. All the women are loving me. I'm definitely not going to complain about that.
'Of course I wanted to win, you just don't want people knowing that when you're sitting by the stage waiting to find out who won. It feels great though.'
