"Professor Green has delayed his tour dates after what he describes as a rather 'turbulent' year.
In the past 18 months, the rapper has experienced some major ups and downs - including his marriage to Millie Mackintosh, being hit by a car and later arrested for alleged drink driving. Needless to say this has left his album on the shelf with a new release date of August and his tour dates rescheduled until the end of the year.
"The last 18 months have been mental, turbulent, up and down, round and round, amazing, horrible, happy, sad, frustrating, testing, trying and above all incredibly f*****g stressful," Green wrote on his website. "I got hit by a car, got married and then had my life turned upside down by an entirely unfounded arrest for something which I was subsequently not charged."
"I’m not sorry it’s late, I’d be sorry if it was shit, there’s no coming back from that," he wrote. "Albums are done when they’re done, there is in fact no such thing as a late album – so there. On the other hand I’m pretty sure people have released shit albums they've rushed."
The rapper also posted a teaser to his new material, a one minute snapshot of a track entitled 'I'm Not Your Man'. It's an acoustic number featuring a clip of the soul hook from the song, Pro Green's verse is yet to be unveiled.
