Pure Love, Frank Carter and Jim Carroll, announced the release of their first single Handsome Devils Club. The single will be released on the 23rd July and received its worldwide premiere as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World this week.
Handsome Devils Club, as uplifting and propulsive as you'd want a song about – as Frank Carter defines it – "being young and having fun" to be. The single follows the free download Bury My Bones that was released last month on www.therealpurelove.com. Bury My Bones has already clocked up nearly ½ million views on YouTube and was downloaded in the thousands in its first few days. The download picked up great support at radio with plays across Radio 1 (including Zane Lowe, Daniel P Carter, Mike Davies and Nick Grimshaw) and Xfm.
On the same day as the radio premiere, Pure Love played their second ever live show at London's Scala. Then, this weekend they play Dot To Dot Festival in Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester.
Pure Love are currently completing the finishing touches to their highly anticipated debut album with legendary producer Gil Norton. Produced in Brooklyn, where both Frank and Jim reside, the debut will be released in October, on Vertigo Records.
