Q-Tip looked back at his illustrious career and detailed his future plans for an LP in an in-depth documentary which aired on June 21 on BBC 1Xtra.
Presented by Benji B, A Tribe Called Quest rapper discussed his early life, influences, and the come-up of Tribe in the hour long documentary. As well as looking back, Q-Tip also looked forward, detailing plans for his upcoming solo LP The Last Zulu, as well as the 25th anniversary of Tribe's seminal record The Low End Theory.
Tip revealed the reissue will feature unreleased A Tribe Called Quest material, and The Last Zulu is influenced by Miles Davis, Beach Boys, and Pink Floyd.
Oddly enough, he also revealed how someone thought he was Tinie Tempah "the other day". "But I loved it," he added. "It means they don't know."
