The music of the Grateful Dead may be coming to the big screen in a narrative-style film similar to the Beatles-themed Across the Universe.
ICM has acquired access to the Dead catalog and has struck up a relationship with band archivist David Lemieux and Mark Pinkus, the General Manager of Dead properties at Warner Brothers.
It has been estimated by a U.K. source that the reunited Black Sabbath could make more than $150 million in 2012 between a new album and world tour. That could lead to almost $40 million per member.

A total of 21 artists will perform 21 songs from the group's Hot Rocks 1964-1971 on March 13.
