Hank Williams, Jr. has loaded up and is ready to unleash on the record buying public with a new song about his recent interview on Fox News and his canning from Monday Night Football. I'll Keep My... even calls the show Fox & Friends out by name and suggests that fans stop watching Fox and ESPN.
In other merchandising news, Williams has also added "Hank Jr. for President" T-shirts to his website store.
It's official. Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell became man and wife on Sunday in London with a small civil ceremony with around 30 guests and a less small celebration at McCartney's home for about 100. On the guest list were Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison, Ronnie Wood, Kate Moss, Twiggy and Barbara Walters.
Shevell's gown was by McCartney's daughter Stella and a new love song composed by McCartney for his wife.
Megadeth's Dave Mustaine says that he is feeling great after his recent neck surgery. He wrote on Twitter "Wednesday [October 5] was two-week check-up. Looks good! Feels great!! Start physical therapy Monday. More TreadClimber until then."
Lindsey Buckingham says that a Fleetwood Mac tour for 2012 is now a lot less likely. He told Ultimate Classic Rock magazine "If I knew the real story, believe me, I would tell you. I wish I could. I would like to know what I'm doing next year. If you had asked me two months ago, I would have said 'Absolutely.' Now I'm not sure."
Donald Banks, who formed the Tymes in 1956 with Albert Berry, Norman Burnett and George Hilliard, passed away on Friday from a stroke and cancer.
The Tymes made the top 20 four times in the U.S. with So Much in Love (1963/#1), Wonderful! Wonderful! (1963/#7), Somewhere (1963/#19) and You Little Trustmaker (1974/#12). In addition, they topped the U.K. charts in 1975 with Ms. Grace.
Banks was part of the group until 1977 and returned in 1980 to tour the oldies circuit.
