Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Massive Attack's 3D played surprise gig in London last night (December 6) in support of the Occupy London movement.
The surprise set took place in an abandoned bank owned by Swiss banking company UBS and was arranged as a thank-you to the protesters.
Occupy spokesman Ronan McNern said: "Artists are doing this in solidarity with the Occupy movement. It's tremendous... and hopefully it will be the first of many concerts."
Concert organiser Adam Fiztmaurice, meanwhile, said: "Yesterday I was meeting with clergy [from the church], and today it is with rock stars. The Occupy movement has so many cultures and this is just a snap shot of what we are doing."
A number of musicians including Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello and Russell Simmons
The Occupy London movement has announced that December 15 will be named Occupy Everywhere and has called for a UK national day of action.
