Superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts performed at Chicago’s United Center on Tuesday night to tape a surprise appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. The band was tapped by Oprah’s producers to perform on one of their highly-anticipated finale shows Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular Part 1. Rascal Flatts performance is slated to air in the May 23rd episode; check local listings for times.
The band performed "I Won't Let Go" from Nothing Like This. Oprah staffers requested the band perform this song, since the lyrics reflect their personal feelings for O Frey! The Flatts are part of TV history with this appearance.
The Oprah Winfrey Show will air the last new episode of its 25-year run on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011.
What the hell will the daytime TV landscape look like without Oprah Winfrey's namesake show?
