Ray LaMontagne headline tour

Ray LaMontagne has announced a 14-date headline tour of the UK & Ireland through October and November 2007, commencing at St David's in Cardiff on 16 October through to London's Royal Albert Hall on 5 November. The announcement follows Ray LaMontagne's highly acclaimed sold-out tour of the UK at the beginning of 2007, which included two dates at London's Hammersmith Apollo. LaMontagne's performance was rapturously received with The Independent proclaiming it to be a five-star 'rare and unqualified triumph' whilst The Daily Telegraph described LaMontagne as 'electrifying', thus further cementing LaMontagne's reputation as an exceptional live performer.

On 7 May, 14th Floor records will release Ray LaMontagne's new single Jolene, the third single to be taken from the UK top 10 debut album Trouble, which has now sold over 400,000 copies in the UK alone.

The album Trouble was produced by Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Kings Of Leon) and was recorded in just two weeks at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. In the UK, the album was released originally on The Echo Label before being picked up by 14th Floor Records following widespread acclaim for both Trouble and LaMontagne's live performances. The success of Trouble in the UK led to LaMontagne being nominated for a BRIT Award for Best International Breakthrough Act in January 2007.
