Former X Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson has spoken out after members of her extended family were injured after an alleged drive-by shooting.
Karl and Craig Dures, the uncle and grandfather of Ferguson's two children with her ex-partner, were hospitalised after being shot in the street in Liverpool last Tuesday (1 April, 2014), it has been reported.
Now, Ferguson has taken to Twitter to praise her family for their support:
Blessed with an amazing family, we have someone looking down on us counting all our blessings god is good! Fresh start! Bye rat race!
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "This is very scary for everyone. Rebecca is absolutely shocked by it."
Karl and Craig Dures are said to currently be in a stable condition at Royal Liverpool Hospital.
