Controversial UK artist Damien Hirst has designed the cover for the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album.
The band posted a new update on their website, showcasing the cover of their tenth studio album I'm With You.
It's clean and bold and just a little vexing. That's because it was designed by UK's controversial multi-millionaire artist Damien Hirst.
You might remember Hirst from such pieces as his shark in formaldehyde, titled The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living, or his diamond-covered skull, titled For the Love of God.
Singer Anthony Keidis has been quoted about Hirst's cover, 'ts an image. Its art. Iconic. We didn't give it it's meaning but it's clearly open to interpretation.'
I'm With You comes out on August 30 this year.
