The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been busy making small hints about their next project which appears to be a series of vinyl and digital releases of b-sides and other previously unreleased music.
A total of 18 sides are planned for release over the next six months although titles and a schedule are not known. It is known from Twitters by both Flea and Chad Smith that there will be a total of ten b-sides from their latest release I'm With You.
The details, as we know them, were floated out over the last four days with lead singer Anthony Kiedis first telling a Grand Rapids crowd "We gotta storm of seven inches coming out over the next six months. Keep one eye open."
